1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KraftSpot provides a web-based platform for craft market inventory management, including:

• Barcode generation and label printing
• Product and inventory management
• Craft market stock allocation and sales tracking
• AI-powered sales data extraction from uploaded files
• Sales reporting and analytics

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your password and account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription & Payment

KraftSpot offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in South African Rand (ZAR) and are processed by Paystack (Paystack Payments Limited, a Stripe company), a third-party payment provider. KraftSpot does not receive or store your full card number, CVV/CVC, PIN, or bank account credentials.

Billing and renewals

• Your first payment is charged immediately when you complete checkout, and your subscription activates once the payment is confirmed.
• Subscriptions renew automatically every month on the anniversary of the date you subscribed, until you cancel.
• Free trials are available for new users for 7 days and will convert to the Free tier unless a paid subscription is activated.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Plan & Billing. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access to your paid plan until then.
• If a renewal payment fails, your account is downgraded to the Free tier immediately. Features above the Free tier limits (including excess craft markets, which become read-only) remain unavailable until a paid plan is restored.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes apply from your next billing period.

Paystack payment processing

By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Paystack's Terms of Service. When you choose to pay, Paystack will collect and process your payment and customer information - including your name, email address, card or bank details, and billing information - in order to process the transaction and administer your recurring subscription. Changing plans and refunds

• Your existing plan is cancelled immediately when you change plans.
• No refunds or credits are given for any remaining time on your current plan. You will be charged the full price of the new plan.
• Your new plan becomes active as soon as your payment is confirmed.
• Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, where applicable.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written consent.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written permission.

Because payments are processed by Paystack, you may not use the Service in connection with any product, service, transaction, or activity that is prohibited by Paystack's Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited categories include, among others: unlawful products or services, counterfeit items, illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, weapons and ammunition, stolen property, identity or financial documents, unlicensed financial services, cryptocurrency operations, gambling and betting, adult or obscene material, and any activity that violates the rules of Visa, Mastercard, or any other card network. You are responsible for ensuring that the products and sales you record or manage through KraftSpot comply with applicable law, this section, and Paystack's Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you create or upload to KraftSpot, including product listings, market records, and uploaded files. We do not claim ownership of your data.

By uploading files for AI-powered extraction, you acknowledge that file contents are transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Payment and customer information is collected and processed by Paystack when you subscribe, as described in Section 4. Our Privacy Policy explains what KraftSpot stores and how your information is protected.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, and branding of the KraftSpot application are owned by or licensed to KraftSpot. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or disruption caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party services (Supabase, Paystack, AI providers).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, KraftSpot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will provide a reasonable period for you to export your data upon request.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
