1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KraftSpot provides a web-based platform for craft market inventory management, including:

• Barcode generation and label printing
• Product and inventory management
• Craft market stock allocation and sales tracking
• AI-powered sales data extraction from uploaded files
• Sales reporting and analytics

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your password and account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription & Payment

KraftSpot offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are processed through PayFast, a third-party payment gateway. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to PayFast's own terms of service.

• Free trials are available for new users and will convert to the Free tier unless a paid subscription is activated.
• Subscription fees are billed monthly in South African Rand (ZAR).
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written consent.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written permission.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you create or upload to KraftSpot, including product listings, market records, and uploaded files. We do not claim ownership of your data.

By uploading files for AI-powered extraction, you acknowledge that file contents are transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, and branding of the KraftSpot application are owned by or licensed to KraftSpot. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or disruption caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party services (Supabase, PayFast, AI providers).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, KraftSpot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will provide a reasonable period for you to export your data upon request.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
